Industry Definitions
Business Owners Policy
A policy that combines both Property and Liability Insurance coverage for special types of small businesses.
Employment Practice Liability
Employment practices liability (EPL) insurance is a type of coverage that protects businesses from the financial consequences associated with a variety of employment-related lawsuits. Some policies also provide the insured with defense for alleged wage and hour infractions.
Garage Liability
Coverage for bodily injury or property damage (Products Liability) for which the insured and or employees may become legally liable as a result of a negligent repair.
Garagekeepers Legal Liability
Garagekeepers Legal Liability protects a customer's vehicle while in the “Care Custody and Control” of the insured while waiting to perform a service. Some policies provide coverage regardless of whether the insured is deemed negligent or not.
Underground Storage Tank System Liability
The Storage Tank Liability policy provides coverage for cleanup costs at a tank owner's facility due to an open release. Coverage is also provided for third party bodily injury and property damage.
Workers' Compensation Insurance
A State mandated insurance that provides benefits to all employees for work-related illnesses and injuries that arise out of the course of their employment.
